Vic -
It's funny how different people see the same thing.
I see some (not all by any means) of the traders as the good guys. They're the ones who provide stability for the stock price by selling when it's high and then buying back in when the price is down. With enough of that kind of trader (like me and my kids), you get the high highs and the low lows damped out, and a more even and less chaotic movement in the stock price.
Now lets look at you and Raleigh -
For a LONNG time, the two of you were exhorting people to HOLD THEIR SHARES; and not to sell under any circumstances. As I see it the result was wild swings in the stock price, because there weren't enough traders to knock off the tops and buy back in to support the stock price. I even wrote a letter to Frank pointing out the effect you guys were having.
As I say, it's funny how different people see the same thing. In all honesty, I see YOU as having had a really awful affect on the stability of the stock price. Some of those who didn't follow your advice (the traders) benefited greatly. And, some of those who did follow it didn't have the stomach for the volatility.
The funny thing from my point of view is that you have been honest and forthright in all you have said and done, and the effect has been simply dreadful.
I know there's probably no way you can even start to see what I'm talking about. Isn't it a funny world, to have such people in it!
