I have always been very glad that I gave up on Star Wars after the very first one. My wife and I went to a matinee that day. It was quite an experience. We were surrounded on all sides by kids of every age who mimicked virtually every zap, zing and zonk that electronics could produce. They obviously were watching for the umpteenth time and had every sound memorized, with perfect timing. We left the theater wondering what we had just witnessed and were never tempted to revisit the experience.
