California is a budgetary disaster with homelessness through the roof and net emigration out of the state. Texas is prosperous, growing, and with net immigration into the state. The contrasts couldn't be starker. California = Socialism. Texas = Capitalism. Capitalism > Socialism. Texas > California.

The problem with your post is that not everybody is the same. We all have different life styles depending on where they live. The people who live in the South may like they way their society works and the people of CA like their life style. We are not all the same and you insult yourself when you call everybody from the South rednecks because they are just regular people. That's like me calling everybody from CA gay because of their liberal lifestyle. If you like being controlled and told what to do then that's on you. I prefer to live as an individual.
