Nope. That's citizens paying taxes to build things we need for increased frictionless commerce. Roads have been critical to that. Space tech has revolutionized large swathes of our capitalist economy. That is a legitimate function of a government in a capitalist economy, to make expenditures directed by the electorate in areas where the barriers to entry are too high for private companies. That was back then. Now private companies are so rich, they are better at making investments in new tech, including space tech than our government. Times have changed, but you Socialists want to take us back to the WWII era. So much for being progressive. You guys are regressive.

Decentralization will almost always win over centralized power structures, because hundreds of millions of people interacting freely to maximize their potential and find the best outcomes always beat a few people dictating things to the masses. I find it hilarious that simple concepts like this are impossible for Socialists and Communists to understand.
