Exactly, instead of assuming that all of us minorities are just "props" or that we are monolithic or that we can't think for ourselves or that we are victims who need to be coddled. I loved what Diamond said. Let's not let the Democrats forget that THEY are the party of slavery. It was the Republicans that fought to free the slaves. Hell, it was Democrats who started the KKK. How quickly they forget their evil roots.
