If Democracy is good enough for the US, then why not for a thread like this? Anyway, the decision has been made. If he simply installs you as moderator, then that would be yet one more example of a liberally biased social media platform trying to silence conservative voices. Of course, I would then be obligated to make sure every conservative on all of these threads knew what had transpired, at least until SI banned me from these threads, which I've participated in since 1996. But I doubt SI Ron would do that. He seems like a reasonable guy and SI has been able to survive this long, because they have managed to navigate the free speech issue better than all the more modern digital platforms. I could be wrong, and if I am, then I will have to admit that things are far worse than I wanted to believe. As to Google, someone suggested I switch to Bing, which I have since done. But I still prefer Google Maps over Apple Maps on my iPhone. Some things Google does are just too valuable not to use.
