Convert to Constitutionalism? I've never been converted. I was born into it. My post history is a tapestry of an adaptable person testing theories and changing opinions when the facts on the ground change. If you tell me you were consistent your whole life and you never changed, then you just told me all I need to know, which is either you are lying or you are rigid and breakable. That's a fool's credibility. Credibility and confidence comes from accomplishment and nothing else. You think we'll really ever know each other on these threads? Not likely. Every word out of your mouth could be a lie for all I know. Maybe you've created a persona for yourself that is not real, but makes you feel good. And what makes you so high and mighty? What are your credentials, besides 30 years in the military? Is that the last word, meaning that gives you permanent status as the smartest guy in the room? Not in the circles I run in. Some of the problems we have are because we have a massively runaway military budget. The last audit of the Pentagon found billions missing. You guys shipped over billions in cash on pallets and left kids to guard them, even as you doled out tax payer money to criminals and hoped that would somehow enable Democracy in Iraq. Fools think that way. Every time we try to get control of the terrorists in the ME, we create more than we resolve. Every bomb that kills one terrorist creates 10 more. Your endless wars are bankrupting this country. It is the epitome of futility. You want to prove to me you have credentials? Then tell us another way out of that quagmire of endless lives and treasure thrown down the sewer in the ME. A true patriot stands up and says, stop, let's think again. This isn't working. Trump did that in Syria and everyone on both sides of the aisle reviled him for it. Everyone is wrong, except for Trump on that issue. We're now at $22 trillion and counting. How long do you think that will last? You fools will kill our economy with debt from endless wars and the other side of the aisle will give it all away in welfare. Both of you are the problem. We need smart, adaptable people to think our way out of this. The new ideas won't come from Democrats, Republicans, or Socialists. Those ideas are already in the dustbin of history.
