Going to university in the Deep South, being able to hear speakers like Julian Bond and Andrew Young on-campus was essential to my understanding of the issues of the post-segregation era. That many of these speakers presented as extreme at the time would have kept them off the campus of Berkeley today had they been conservatives. You either have absolute free speech or you don't have it. There is no in-between. As to the EO, you could never understand Obama's abuse of it, there is no reason to expect you would understand Trump's proper use of it.
