More than 90% of ATM cash machines around the world still use Windows XP or Embedded Windows XP !

This is the business response I'd expect to Microsoft's short-lived operating systems soon replaced with a new one.

No business has the time or energy to change their computer's operating system and upgrade it twice a year with new features which involve rewriting business applications.

The other response by business is a switch to some flavor of Linux.
