Don't blame Rand Paul. He seems like a reasonable human being, but he grew up in Washington. The problem... this guy thinks he is still protecting the Constitution, when it's been shredded to pieces already. We are now in a different kind of fight that Rand Paul can't handle and perhaps doesn't really understand He wimps out when we really need him the most. Its not easy, most buckle to the pressures and culture of Wash DC.

Unlike the others in leadership positions in DC, he doesn't keep his own welfare paramount in making moral decisions. In return the kindness, sincerity and honesty elicit similar responses from others, his rallies is a testament to the connection he has built with the American people. Agree completely with your statement above. We know that for a fact, because he doesn't even take a salary. No President in my lifetime has done that, except for Trump. And you are most certainly right about him working in a germ infested area. That's DC alright. BTW, I don't know Trump either. All I know about him is what I read and see, and admittedly, we all know that Trump gets 95% bad and biased press. So even someone like me, who voted for him, can come away thinking he's not the nicest guy. However, someone who does know him reached out to me recently and gave me some really good personal info on Trump. That makes me believe you may be exactly right and I was wrong. Either way, we have a man who stands up for all of us who don't get a voice in this country, because it is only the people with Identity Politics grievances who are getting all the airtime nowadays due to the Social Justice Warriors and Socialists. So we're really luck to have Trump at this particular moment in history. No one else could have made the progress he has made. I hope we can keep him for another term.
