They did not say that all of 1998 would be flat, just Q1.

This was said in the context of goals they intend to meet each year, and they said they would exceed that if the industry grew more.

No the numbers do not add up well, but they stressed the flat 1q, which they clearly felt that they could beat, and expected further growth at the end of the year. An analyst tried to tie this all together with some q2 projection on present backlog which would be shipped then, but they wouldn't bite.

I would say the cc was very positive but listen for yourself. And who knows how it will be mangled by manana.
