The suspect was caught on video and was arrested. he will be tried for assault and battery and he is being sued by the victim for damages. UC Berkeley will also get sued. I hope the jury awards massive damages. Berkeley is a swamp of Socialists and freedom of speech haters.

Wharfie, There are state and local laws, however, against punching anybody wearing anything for any reason, so it is considered a crime. You have my permission to arrest the suspects. Yep, it's not UC Berkeley's fault that the MAGA guy got punched. But it's Trump's fault that a bunch of racists rallied in Charlottesville, VA, which then led to violence.
