Roy, thanks for the link. It is nice to have so many solid early indicators regarding ATI earnings, i.e. Belgium, Germany, Italy - very reassuring as one could almost calculate a part of ATI earnings based on this info. (Probably some have) This would improve one's odds of correctly anticipating ATI earnings. I don't know the tools to do this, but can clearly see that all indicators are good. For those who would doubt my long-term perspective given my focus on earnings in the near future, rest assured, the long term, I believe, looks great too. I do realize that even long-term investors do better to get in before major upward moves in the price (or vica-versa), and as I have stated in prior posts I believe there are a few good reasons why this may be about to happen or is happening with ATI now.
Question to you and the thead: Are you aware of any other equities where an investor gets a peek at upcoming earnings such as that I described above? Regards Dave W.

Roy,
Interesting article detailing Mannesmann(ATI)struggle against DT in Germany. Tone of article is neutral. Too long to post here. No smoking guns anyway. The gist: "Less than a month into the liberalization of Western Europe's phone markets, the fight between Deutsche Telekom and Mannesmann Arcor has quickly gotten up close and personal."

BTW, we have a great news synergy going. Thanks for your contributions.

Regards, Dave
