(Bulletin Board: TSQD) today introduced a new product, the ''Translation Station''(TM) data storage system that enables Windows-and MacOS-based computers to read from, and write to, a wide variety of data storage formats. Featuring a SCSI interface and a 300 watt power supply, the Translation Station can accommodate up to six disc or tape drives with any combination of formats including, but not limited to: Iomega Zip and Jaz drives; Syquest SyJet, EZFlyer and older 44MB-200MB drives; CD-Recordable and CD-Rewritable drives; DVD drives; Magneto-Optical drives; DAT and DLC tape drives; and many more. ''Many of our DTP Direct customers are frustrated by the growing number of data storage 'standards' in the marketplace'' said Rick Apple, Tech Squared's Sr. VP of Marketing. ''Pre-press service bureaus, catalogers, newsletter publishers. in fact, most customers receiving images or other sizable data from outside sources are now receiving those images on a variety of incompatible disks or tapes.
