Why? Because we already know it is. The Sony Mavica digital camera has already proven that disk-based storage will work and that consumers will buy it. The Clik! is a much better solution than a 1.44m floppy. While Clik! is more expensive than a 1.44m floppy, it is the only thing currently on the horizon which will allow digital cameras to progress on to taking large numbers of high resolution pictures.
