Wendy, I don't trade Asia,, mostly ol' TO, but Heh, were living in a "WORLD CLASS WORLD " now. BTW, we're not saving the borrowers nearly as much as we're saving the lenders. The threat that they have indiscimanately lent too much without due dilly has now become our problem, or they are putting it that way. It has been my experience with banks that they will lend you 5000 if you have 10,000 in savings bonds with them, but they fall all over each other to lend it to the latest fad , be it real estate, oil going to $100 a barrel, or Asian Tigers. BTW , I don't think the borrower here gets to keep what he has. My impression of the investing game as far as most of us are concerned is, pass the hot potato or musical chairs .
