I hope all these news releases aren't ammunition for weak earnings....

After all, they report after the bell tomorrow. (correct?)

On another note, the downside is 40 IMHO...the upside is substantial...mid 50's....then to the 60's-70's.....

Now that Alex Cena has covered his rear (24 points lower than the 52 week high) most analysts are bearish....

This makes me bullish...contrarian in nature.....too much pessimism...we know CDMA will emerge as the dominant wireless technology....Just hope IS-95 crushes all other alternatives....IMHO the probability of a worldwide standard being backwards compatible is somewhere around 50% right now.....We need NTT or Europe to clinch it....I think Europe will be the kicker......IDO and DDI in Japan are up and running in April so IS-95 CDMA will begin to explode in Japan in the 2nd Q.....

Finally, Institutional Investor's all american telecom analysts were CENA and the DMG Analyst.....

IMHO, neither of them should get it due to QCOM this year...the DMG analyst is a CDMA bear....never positive about QCOM....He must have pissed off management and they probably don't give him first news....As for Cena, he blew it towards the end of the year.....Good analyst but missed the boat this time....

P.S. At 46, I think I will consider purchasing some shares tomorrow ...On average, the cycle appears to be overdone and is now due for an uptick to the mid-50's soon...
