I don't think we'll see stagflation since rates aren't really going higher and our economy isn't stagnant... the European Central Banks, from what I understand, are going to keep rates down to help save their economy from crashing, this would also keep the Euro weaker in order to help their exports... with that on the horizon, it would also keep our rates down and also firm up the dollar as a result of their action...

Maybe gold is rallying now on lower rates because with the U.S. economy moving better than it has AND with rates kept low we could actually see some inflation creep into the picture...

I'm certainly no economist, but I'm trying to make sense of the fundamentals as I understand them based on the market action itself...
