Jim, I've heard "that American's think Doctors are Gods".. daytime soaps are sort of like the lower level dieties of the Greeks and Romans.

You know the people that become doctors are enthusiastic about being caretakers and healers, they do have a grueling and difficult initiation and work is physically, mentally and emotionally taxing.
The problem lies with the establishment of privilege and authority that goes with it. The AMA a while back complained there were too many doctors in med school. Too many doctors in the economy would drive down prices.

The one a friend mentioned today was ".. what daya think about an airport being named after Ronald Reagan?" Bet a lot of controllers aren't clearing that takeoff.
