Hi Dan,

I can explain that.<smile>

Beings I'm from Wisconsin - we have our traditions.

One of those is Sturgeon spearing on Lake Winnebago. It occurs the second thru the last weekend of February. We take our 4x4's and our fishing shanties out on the Lake and cut a big hole in the 21 inch thick ice and wait for a sturgeon to swim by. Then you spear it and drag it out of the water and take it to a registration check point.

It is but one of very few places where the sturgeon population allows a limited harvest.

It's a Wisconsin thing.

During those 3 weeks ,I get my fill of cold snowy weather.

If it is snowing, it really is quite beautiful. Snow shoeing, tobogganing, tubing, skiing, and snowmobiling are all thrilling winter sports.

Its all about having the right layers of clothing.

Last weekend three of my buddies put on 990 miles of snowmobiling in 3 days.

Admittedly its not Puerto Rico, but it is fun.

Usually involves an excess of Kesslers and coke.LOL
