Yes, I bought gold two days ago on a buy signal when I also then received some comments from others here that I was crazy...

And now I think we may see the SP drop down to around 2630 or so... maybe after a bounce of sorts...

If so, then that would create a very large inverted HS on the SP chart for a measured more up to about 3370 or thereabout some time down the road later this year... or possibly early to mid next year...

For gold, and I'm not a gold bug or anything like that, I can see gold rally significantly from current levels, maybe 1400 for starters...

the question is: when does gold preserve capital? common wisdom is during inflationary periods ... not so sure it has done that well -- except over fairly long time frames and you have to be choosy about picking start and end points?

Has anyone else noticed in their area that groceries are up huge just in the last couple of months?
