Good Evening Margaret: Just posted an update on my picks of the year to Yaacov. I don't want to labor the point on my pics of the year mentioned therein, but it seems that anything that is not a $10 stock is regarded with total disdain on this thread or appears to fall on deaf ears to a complete lack of interest. One or two of my recs have already exceeded the equivalent of Intel going from $70 to $100 within a few weeks, so for your benefit I am only going to say this one more time. When a news item comes out on a stock that appears to be fundamentally bullish, but it does not immediately react: A. I try to find out why and B. If everything checks out, I wait, because I know from experience that sometimes it takes the market a few days or even weeks to figure things out and react accordingly. This actually happens a lot with stocks. It will be interesting to see how Intel reacts to the news about quick web. To me this seems like a mandatory upgrade for the World's ISP's to Deschutes 333Mhz, thereby creating new next level market tier. The power of quads, eights and 12 proc servers with this power boggles the mind. Back to mkt reaction. The best example of a delayed reaction to good news was back in Aug 1982. Amidst one of the most negative market sentiment periods in this Century, Pres. Reagans tax cut realeased Aug 12, 1982 if I recall correctly, was at first greeted with skeptiscism by the mkt. Four days later on Aug 16 the market finally reacted and took off on one of its biggest surges ever and the rest is history. Four days ago one of my fav's realeased what appears to be some blockbuster news that was greeted with warm enthusiasm but has so far not caught on. Since imho this issue was considerably undervalued before the news, I must admit to being somewhat perplexed! But knowing from experience that it take both COURAGE and PATIENCE as well as DUE DILIGENCE to make money in stocks, I am not disappointed thus far as it appears to be moving gradually higher. A good sign as it implies a continuation of the base building process at higher levels. This stock looks to me like the antidote to BMC. Need I say more. Here's the particular news item. Let me know what you think. biz.yahoo.com A good evening to you and all rgds Wiz
