The fraudulent patent application may have included work done by Dr. Balbir S. Bohgal. Dr.Bohgal served as Zonagen's Director of Immunology and he was probably doing research that has been included in the application as a basis for the patent. If he disagrees with the discovery stated in the patent application then perhaps he is concerned that his good name will be damaged by the application. I don't think he is trying to defend the patent system, just his name.
A fraudulent patent is a patent that doesn't include any new discovery or claims discovery of a previously patented point of invention or discovery.
