Centaur is a wholely owned subsidiary while CL ownership is contingent upon reaching certain goals. CL is supposed to be about 81% owned by IDT if these targets are met. The details on the agreement, investment and ownership are still not clear. All this stuff should be reported in the 10qs, if it's not reported soon, then Perham and others at IDT should start worrying about conflict of interests legal concerns.

IDTI has shown itself to spend R&D money to diversify in the last 2 years. The fact that they don't have major extra R&D outlays now is positive & points to better financial peformance in the near term. ("you place your bets and then you see the results")

The game they are in though will be, in part, a R&D driven one and their reach into memory, graphics, DSP, risc, etc. will require more R & D down the road. Another good news interpretation is that they have been investing in gearing up new products yet they still had a positive report.
