Norway's people are not as free as most outsiders think.

Several years back, I spent an extended time there with friends who still have family that live in a gorgeous small town in the heart of the country.

I learned a lot about what they "really" think about their government.

That was a precious time for me - I was basically "chauffeured" by car over much of Norway. IMO, it is the most magnificent, beautiful land on Earth.

I think tinkering in any way with our Constitutional Republic as our forefathers intended would be an irreversible and disastrous mistake...

I think it should be the other way around, other countries can learn from our successes...

The only thing we can learn from other countries is not to replicate their failed policies and follies...

There's a very good reason America is still the beacon of freedom, economic success, and global envy...
