I have to wonder if the entry of this AOC person into mainstream politics isn't perhaps a brilliant move by Donald Trump, who may, in some way or the other, have groomed her and "backed" her. And then, as the frosting of the cake, Lihan Omar also (was) moved in to join, underline and amplify the AOC nonsense. Together they form the ice-berg the 'New Democrat' Titanic is bound to hit 108 years later in 2020.

Unlikely, but if so, it could backfire. To her supporters, the most attractive quality of AOC is her brashness. She may not be all that smart, but her supporters don't care. Plus she has most of the mainstream media carrying her water and making up for her shortcomings, much like they did for Barack Obama. Underestimate her at your own risk.
