To all these people climbing over (or more often just walking over) our Southern border. On track to be a million new arrivals this year. They look like they could be in the market for a lot of new things. (never mind...maybe I'm being a little cold and overly cynical) I wonder if the general stagnation Europe seems to have been in the past 6 years or so already is the fate of all aging capitalist economies or a result of major mistakes they have made...overly protective socialist policies, preventing competition, high taxes, etc. I think the latter. Reagan forced our companies to start dealing with foreign competition which was the best thing that ever happened to our auto industry. Remember how bad American cars were then!! Brought some improvements for awhile. Anyway, is Europe our future or or we going to kick and claw our way around that stagnation they seem to be locked into. longhorn
