I was talking specifically about the nationwide power outage that required many "coincidental" failures at once and the following "coincidentally" well coordinated use of that failure to bolster the popularity of the opposition party.

But to answer your question with another question, aren't US sanctions blatant, overt, economic sabotage? I mean the whole point of them is to disrupt a country's economy and force changes that wouldn't have occur otherwise? If they are working at all (as we hope), we are sabotaging their economy.
