One of the back stories not often talked about is that
the day the Oakland Raider organization actually moves
to their new home in Las Vegas, every player and coach,
etc. for the Raiders receives a pretty substantial automatic
pay raise in the form of not having to pay California income
tax anymore, and paying zero Nevada state income tax.
This extends to recruiting free agents: For guys like
Antonio Brown, and Levon Bell, if the Raiders and say
the New England Patriots, make the same financial offer,
the Raider offer is automatically more attractive.
