I like him a lot. I hope he has a chance. Good news- he has a dick. Bad news? He's not a household name. I think his gayness might actually work for him. It will be hard to attack him for that without making most of America feel the attacks are hateful. There aren't a lot of dog whistles on gayness that work any more. It's way easier to be a dog whistling racist in America than a dog whistling homophobe. I think we can thank TV and movies for that- they've dealt with homophobia a lot better than they've dealt with racism- and every character has a gay friend now!
