The difference is that you think this is ok as part of a campaign trail vote grab - and I think it is a terrible idea. Not certain whether this is a deliberate misstatement or just a misstatement. But that's not my position. I think Warren's position here is excellent policy. And that she is using that policy position in a reasonably wily way to further her political campaign. Which, in my book, is what good campaigns are all about. So you and I disagree about the policy point here. As for whether it's good politics in a more sinister sense--that is will it drive possible Dem supporters to the GOP, you state that as dogma. To me, it's unlikely but definitely contingent. Who the hell knows. I frankly don't see it.
