I agree with you about the capture of regulation and the refusal to commit to anti-trust enforcement. As to MMT, you should be very cautious on anything that promises something free. There is one truth in life and that is that there is nothing for free. Someone always pays a price. With MMT, the price will be felt most by the people who think they are getting something for free. Zimbabwe, Weimar, Venezuela, and many other countries have experienced MMT, much to their chagrin.

BTW, one more thing. You do know that we have already tried MMT in the US, right? It's called QE. Did that do anything for the 99%? I know it increased my own wealth significantly, because I'm a big asset holder, but I'm in the 1%. So that's something to think about. QE and MMT never help the 99%. They first and foremost help the 1% and increase the rich poor divide by leaps and bounds.
