Well, I definitely have a prism as does everyone else. We live life through our experiences and are biased by them. Definitely the US has behaved badly with Latin American countries and with many countries all over the world. Still, Socialism is not the answer. It will destroy us, just as it has every Latin American country. Everything wrong in other countries can not be blamed on the US. Sometimes, it is as simple as the systems in those other countries are bad in comparison to ours.
