You and I think exactly alike. My reaction was the same when she started warning me. I immediately get aggressive, because that is just seriously un-American behavior. Especially with what I've seen of you and then my own posts, they were never anything but cordial and pretty darned aligned on conservative issues. So her behavior has just been downright bizarre. I agree with you 100% on Freedom of Speech. I'll give someone the middle finger if they try to make me conform to mind control. Don't care if they are from the left or the right. I don't get into cults and no one gets to control my thoughts. Kindergarten shit is exactly correct. We're not in preschool anymore. The wacko nut jobs need to seriously cool down. It's not an existential event when someone disagrees with you. I'll tell you something else. You were one of the few who were NOT cowed by her. Several posters who have been friendly to me in the past were immediately hostile and calling me a leftie, just because I dared stand up to HB's tyranny. Doesn't that sound like self-censorship and cult-like behavior to you? Anyway, I respect anyone who wants to stay out of spats like these. I find them infantile anyway, but I'm happy there are other folks out there like you who aren't afraid to be lone wolves when it comes to core values. Sometimes that is what it takes. And like you said, we both have plenty of friends who have stood the test of time and battle. No need to worry about the fake posers, who will stab you in the back at the turn of a hat. Much better to associate with people of a less volatile disposition. It's Friday my friend. Another day in my 7 day weekend, but tonight is my date night with my wife and we're getting Thai Food. :) Then we'll come home and I'll crack open another Guiness!
