Congress delegated this power to the President 40 years ago. To my knowledge nobody objected to the dozens and dozens of times it has been used by all Presidents since Carter. If they were really afraid of how the next President would use it then repeal the whole law. But no. They try to take it away from this particular President for this particular purpose DELIBERATELY preserving it for the next president. And they have the gall to say they do this on "principle". All the democrats and 12 Republican in the Senate are the worst kind of scummy liars. And they ALL want a wide open border and unlimited immigration.
