Citizens United is another thing they got wrong. That destroyed the concept of one man one vote, because now the dark pools of money in PACs have a louder voice than 1 poor man. We have a layered system of corruption in this country that will be hard to undo at this point. It calcifies a nation, until the nation become ungovernable, as we're seeing with Trump, even though he fights mightily against the inertial swamp. Eventually, all great nations collapse under their own weight as they devolve into internecine warfare. I hate that I am watching this country decline in this way.
