I would say one of the more memorable experiences was in Switzerland when we were in Interlachen and from there took a train up to the tree line of Mount Jungfrau and from there we trekked up Jungfrau which is the tallest mountain in the Swiss Alps at 14,000 feet, we trekked up to the summit plateau... that was an incredible experience... Looking down from the summit you see the tops of clouds and blue sky, that's blue sky below you!!! Here are some of those pics... I also thought meeting with the village medicine man in Rarotonga was also a great experience and exotic place to see, a pic of the guy is posted below... also western Samoa was beautiful where we went into the jungle and saw people actually living primitively, pics also below... I think those are some of the best experiences I've had while visiting places around the world... I also thought the South Island in New Zealand was very pretty and beautiful with the same kind of landscape as the highlands in northern Scotland which we also visited... Probably the most endearing place was Australia where the people were so warm and friendly, they treated us like family, I suppose that we spoke the same language was a big factor... Mount Jungfrau, looking up at the challenge of the mountain and then looking down at the glaciers we just crossed... Rarotonga, medicine man name was Pa, he knew the medicinal purpose for every plant as we walked up a remote mountain road, some small hut type dwellings were along the way where little kids waved to him, everyone knew him as their family doctor, these little kids were running around completely naked up in these remote and very isolated mountain hamlets... Western Samoa, a woman doing her laundry in a lava rock... A couple at home preparing their dinner... GZ
