It does look that Boeing rode the 737 airframe horse for as long as it could get. Then wanted to go an extra mile and did not work. Probably the 737 will be stopped and new small plane be developed. Here enters Embraer: Beyond that, some analysts think the combination of talents at the two companies could change Boeing’s thinking about the airplane that comes after the NMA, the replacement for the 737 MAX.
