I asked him if Netcom used any ASND equipment, and his reply was No, none, its all Cisco's!>> Remember the UUNET failure last Aug or Sept? Turned out to be undermemory configured routers, plus what ASND later said was a bug in their software (which CSCO denied). It seems that the increasing volume on the net is severely taxing them. This is just another opportunity for ASND. Too bad the reworked GRF isn't out yet.
