1. You're going to have to send Brad Dryer an email about that one. If you can capture the screen, it'd help him quite a bit. I used to have a similar problem with my profile (the program at SI was blowing off) and it turned out I had an apostrophe somewhere it didn't like it. His email address is brad@techstocks.com

2. Your dial-up connection dialogue should have a checkbox for "remember password". Make sure it's checked next time you enter your password.

I tried out IE for a while (am back to Netscape) and had exactly the same problem. I don't understand the intricacies of browsers well enough to know why it happens. Just that it does happen. Probably has to do with incompatible cookies.

BTW, it turns out SI is located in a town very close to me; where most of my clients are. I'm in that town almost daily. I've wrangled an invite. Can't wait to check that place out and meet these guys. I admire them deeply for their conviction to keep SI their own and not just sell it to the first guy that'd make them rich.

I was asked to give them 24 hours notice, though, so they could be sure to shower that day. Obviously, they're true geeks. LOL

Jack, as far as the password....try this...go to control panel, click on the network icon, where it says "windows Logon" highlight it and then remove it. go to the "Add" button and click. highlight "client for microsoft network" and hit Add. Reboot...Hopefully this will fix your password. The grayed little box will now be accessable...I think !
