Lisa, I think you hit the nail on the head re correlation. Watch it trade first until you get comfortable with it. Do your charts and numbers and whatever else you do to familiarize yourself with it. Maybe look at graph of DOW and DJX just for starters to get brushstroke overrview. Hell, if it were that easy... everybody would do it. As far as the S & P and hoping for down arrow when you wake up.... Depends when you wake up. If you have OCD like my wife claims I do (ha).. well you might not be in bed for another hour and wake up 2 hours after market opens tomorrow... right about time when SPX turns DOWN.. IMHO. Happy dreams.. JT
