Softball question.

I have no need to help people of a culture that only breeds. Africa will have its population double by 2050 and double again by 2100.

Why is 4B people living in Africa a good thing? That is a lot of poverty on a continent that is already impoverished.

I have no interest in feeding these people so they can continue to breed.

If Africa had a culture that managed its population and focused on improving the lives of the living, then I would be interested in helping out.

But that is not what is happening. I am sure the same poverty and population growth issues are happening in south and central America as well.

One way or another, Nature will solve the over population problem. She always does.

yes, absolutely. Latin America is a very important set of countries for me. I have more than sympathy. I have empathy. My father immigrated Legally from one of them. Read my recent post on GZ's thread about Brazil and the US and Latin America. In short, I want America First and Make America Great Again to be about ALL the Americas (North, Central, and South). NOT with open borders, because every country has a right to secure their borders and to say who gets to come in. Also, those that would come here sneaking across the border don't respect our laws and will not contribute to our economy through taxes and other legal means. However, if the US will open its heart to Latin America and make those countries our first and top priority for engagement and partnership, the Americas trading block can be the most powerful in the world. Capitalism, Trade, frictionless movement of goods and services. These will lead to massive prosperity not just for Latin America, but also for the US. Latin America has 625M people. Add the 350M in the US and the 37M in Canada and the Americas are 1 billion people. Latin America is one of the fastest growing multi-lateral economies in the world, comprising some 26 countries. Latin Americans are almost 99% Catholic and conservative ideologically. They share our US values. Together, we can be the most competitive and prosperous trading block in the world.

They have simply had the misfortune to be shunted aside and manipulated by former US Presidents, which has opened the door to influences from Cuba, Russia, and China. That in turn has lead to an undeclared war between us and Russia and China in revolutions, controlling the drug trade, and in economic areas. We need to flip all of that over and start fresh. Only Trump can do that. He is actually well loved by businessmen in Latin America. They admire his strength and his family. They love his Capitalism and hate Socialism, because they have seen how it has destroyed countless countries throughout Latin America. Venezuela is only the most recent, which was the most wealthy country and now is among the poorest. So they know what Socialism is, unlike the silly US folks.

Anyway, you want to solve the immigration problem? Let's lift all boats by creating an Americas trading bloc, securing our borders, and rewriting all the rules of immigration from Latin America. Latin Americans want to be more like us economically in the US. Let's give them a chance.

One last argument to make. Why the F are we spending so much money and time in the Middle East? We don't need any of those people. We don't need their oil. We are energy and oil independent. We don't align with them philosophically nor in our religions. They do not share our values. So let's let the Middle East go back to being a desert. Can you imagine if we spent all THAT time, energy, and those trillions of dollars in Latin American investment instead? The Americas would be wealthy beyond even our imagination to the US' benefit. Instead, we pump trillions of dollars and thousands of American lives into a desert with zero benefit to US citizens. How stupid can we be? Trump may have already realized that. His last two major actions were to announce we're leaving Syria and then his pivot to Brazil. Smart businessman.
