Well I just bought some OAKT today. S&P gives OAKT a fair value of 12.30, so hopefully it will eventually hit that price. I can't see this stock going much lower since book value is 5.81.

Can anyone give me info on how well OAKT is doing on the DVD front? Thanks.

Ken thanks for your response.

The question I posed was more open ended and relates to competition in 3-D graphics cards. Earlier, someone posted a very positive article on Warp5 which uses an OakT chip set. Recently I've read material on 3Dfx, which characterizes them as the up and comming brain child for 3-D graphics. I don't know much about either. It looks like Warp5 got positive reviews in EE Times (cost about $150.00). From what I can gather about 3Dfx, they have a comparable card for approx. $200.00. The question I eluded to above was if Intel is investing in Real 3D, what will this mean for OAKT and the competitive situation in general among graphics card makers. Intel seems to have a keen interest in this area with their acquisition of Chips and Technologies and their investment in Real 3D. Comments?
