Merril Lynch is dropping its numbers on "PC shipments". Wonder if this will cause any selling pressure for the DD makers - can't imaging there's much room left on the down side for QNTM. Oh well, with the market looking up generally, should be interesting either way.

I am happy that I reached a balance point where I am steadfast in my determination to buy solid company's and hold them in the face of a nasty market enviroment. I still feel the pain but I just keep buying the leaders. If the biggies are going bankrupt in this sector....then my portfolio will be down 35% because I am maintaining that allocation to this sector. The management of these major players is certainly smarter and better capitalized than I am! (by numerous billions) Gottfried I feel your pain but we will have or day, I will choose the wine......Egg
