Japan tried living with an extreme trade surplus and extreme things happened, to them, as a result. They did it to themselves.

Agree.. as posted to Mq.. situation of too many eggs is not good..

Funny stockpiles of USD (treasuries etc) was thought of as a weapon for China.. but truly a double edged sword..

Steady on Elroy. I can't take too many posts that agree with me. Where is gps when I need him?

People "enjoying" a trade surplus are considered to have an advantage but being an unsecured creditor to the USA political system and US$ diluters and royalty collectors is a bad idea. Note to self.... do something with my US$ pretty soon.
