And you don't even know you're doing it.

You mean like you did with Ms. Page's testimony? She unambiguously said something that is very different from your claims.

In this case about Trump, he wasn't unambiguous, but very wishy-washy. The anti-Nazi stuff was almost certainly inserted by his staff and he didn't seem happy about having to say it. Probably because he had delayed so long in making any comment at all and his initial ones avoided the elephant in the room. His recalcitrance was not polling well and he had to say what he did. Whether he liked it or not.

Interesting that you claim it was discussed intensively this week. The events were a year ago. It wad beaten to death at that time. So it took a year for someone to figure out how to spin this? It sounds like it must have been tough to come up with an angle that was more palatable...

You see it, you hear it, and you totally discount it as though he never said it.

He did say it. And that's part of why I'm calling the overall speech ambiguous. On the other hand, the individual statement you cling to could have been just another of Trump's going on 10K lies.

I heard what Trump said at the time he said it. I never claimed otherwise. I don't appreciate the misrepresentation.
