You’re missing the point.

The agreement to participate in the Union was essentially a contract between states and the Union. Not between voters and the Union. That matters.

It was an opt-in process by the states and they did not express a willingness to give up power. Do you think for a minute Arkansas would have agreed to join the Union u Dee the terms of having say in the leadership? Any other state? No, it wouldn’t have happened.

This is the reason the Constitution has a provision that addresses this sort of side agreement.

I cannot imagine the Court would let this become a law. I think they know it is a disaster if they did.
