Kerry,

I think your record on "predictions" stands on its own merits. The timing wasn't always on target, for various reasons, but much of what you said would happen actually did. I noticed that you didn't take credit for one of your other calls. <g> (Lurker hint. Kerry predicted something a while back that a little due diligence on the internet would have proven to be true. Not a big deal, but an accurate prediction just the same.)

On another note. I saw that someone on The Motley Fool said that according to Vicker's, IBM owns 970,000 shares of ANCR as of the week of 1/18. I went back to the Schedule 13G dated January 20, 1997, and they had 865,000 shares, down from 1,200,000 in 1995. If those numbers are correct, IBM has purchased a little over 100,000 shares sometime during the last year. Have you been tracking this? I have not been able to confirm the Vicker's number.

Craig

Kerry,

I think I found the answer to my IBM question. The Vickers report (I finally found it) shows IBM owning 970,000 shares of ANCR, but the date is 09/23/96, which is PRIOR to the 01/29/97 date of the Schedule 13G document. Sorry for the confusion, but this appears to be a non-event.

Craig

Kerry, I had my eyes brimming with tears for a while as I read through
your post. Why have I ever dared to question Ancor and, most
importantly, as a consequence your predictions? I was almost ready
to quit halfway and immediately write back a public apology and
beg for forgiveness. But I read on. And I am glad I did. As it turned out
you have once again designed your tirade to show your superiority
and fulfill your narcissistic cravings.

I take back what I said. You still haven't LEARNT anything.
