I don’t think it is a flop to discover the truth. I’ve been a believer that Mueller was doing his job well, just by virtue of the fact that almost all the “leaks” turned to be fake news instead of leaks. But he did flip SDNY a couple bones to gnaw on for a while, probably to give them something to do to keep them out of the real investigation Nevertheless, I would imagine they will come up with some nonsense — like that woman in NY going after the Foundation on essentially insignificant charges. You can always find something in longitudinal looks at financial records.
