It might have been a blunder the first time he said it but he kept repeating it.

That is the problem with the fan wanking that i-node and the other Trump apologists have. You can't dismiss these things as simple slips of the tongue or mistakes.

Because he keeps on repeating them. Often elaborating them.

And they are often unnecessary. Like inaugural crowds. The numbers were respectable. It also was a nasty day, cold and drizzling. Which is going to depress attendance regardless of who is the president.

>> Found 57 states

Yes, of course, 57. That was the point. Just like my 47.

>> We chuckle and then ignore conspicuous slip-ups

We do, unless it is Trump.

>> the same way we ignore even repeated incorrect usage of "it's" and "its" in posts

Mine is exacerbated by one of those tiny Mac wireless keyboards on which keys are free to stick or not type at will. I try to stay out of the grammar critic business because mine is not very good anyway.

>> He's still harping on it, still bringing it up. Who's gone wild, there?

I haven't heard it recently but yes, some members of the media intentionally put up photos that made the crowd size appear smaller than it was. That happened. By putting up photos of the crowd from before the event began, the biggist mouth, CNN, misrepresented the facts. While Trump clearly did not have a bigger crowd than Obama did, trying to turn it into a fatal character flaw was the wrong thing to do.

Many of the things you seem to not like about Trump are in face products of a lying media. Of course, you do not see that. You continue to accept the news media at face value, and you can't do that when they are caught in lie after lie after lie. CNN and MSNBC, NYT, WaPO -- all have egregiously and intentionally reported poorly supported stories or outright lies as though it is nothing. It is, after all, part of going after Trump, which is fair game.

For me, it isn't.
